Nighthawks

About

Welcome to Owensboro; death overshadows the small-town charm and evil festers in plain sight. It’s the kind of place where bad things can happen and no one is surprised.

Trinity dreams of leaving town, but she’s stuck, still in college, still living at home. Even after a man is found hanging from the ceiling of an abandoned hospital, covered head to foot in bite marks—marks like the ones Jai, her boyfriend, leaves on hers—Trinity can’t seem to distance herself. Not from Owensboro. Not from Jai or the secret spot in the forest where something watches her from the trees, fat with sacrifice. Things are spiralling dangerously out of control, and Trinity is in her favourite place: right in the thick of it.
